A carefully chosen spot for art lovers

I wish I still had a picture of one of my earliest artworks. I remember kindergarten in winter, when I drew Abraham Lincoln for Presidents’ Day with Crayola crayons. The teacher proudly pinned it to the bulletin board and showed my mom with a smile.

I’ve always been creative and experimented with many different mediums. Watercolor became my favorite after taking an evening class nearby that opened my eyes to its possibilities. I also learned a great deal from artists on YouTube when I wanted to tackle specific subjects and techniques.

I haven’t stopped painting, and I think my work reflects the progress I’ve made over the years. I love the beach—waves, sunsets, sea creatures, and boats—all of those scenes inspire me to pick up a brush. I enjoy learning new techniques and strive to paint looser at times, although I often delight in focusing on fine details.

I hope you enjoy following my art journey. Please browse my journal, available pieces, and sold work, and feel free to message me with any questions or thoughts.
